The Older I get The less I know for sure

How do you like me now?

In silence your every needs were met,
it was never enough my dear,
though I always held you in good cheer.
Now my bones are worn and flat,
all your wants I carried on my back
now the dust fills my soul's empty crack.

I've stood strong as a mountain,
I have cried like a willow tree,
now I wait to be set free.

Time passed and the stone edges are smooth,
like rivers of time the waters roles by,
all that's left for me is to carry your sigh.
Now I drift to the land of weightlessness,
to the valley of unknown lovers,
where flames that lost their glow recovers.

I've stood strong as a mountain,
I have cried like a willow tree,
now I wait to be set free.

This is the journey of the strong and weak,
where pillars have failed to carry their weight,
their spirits are crushed till they become bait.
They reassemble to revise and entwine anew,
bringing forth strength to find a true soul mate
that stretches across time to an endless date.

I've stood strong as a mountain,
I have cried like a willow tree,
now I am set so free.
To
LOVE
