"Are You There?"

Person: My heart grows weary with each new day that passes by.

It's overwhelmed by so many things that it just makes me want to break down and cry.

Oh Lord, I don't know why this is happening to me…

This chaos…this drama…are You up there? Can't You see?

Jesus: Beloved, I am here.

All this time, I have been near.

Beloved, open your eyes and open your ears.

Come to me and I will wash away your tears.

Person: God where you? Have You left me? Are You gone?

Do You still love me? Or has Your love for me fully withdrawn…

Jesus: Beloved, why do you grieve?

I love you so much…and my child, I will never leave.

Person: Dear God, can't you hear me crying out to You?

Please help me…I really don't know what to do…

Jesus: Beloved, I do hear you…it's you who can't hear me.

Just open up your heart and soul and I'll be able to set you free…

Person: My God has left me…I don't know what to do…

He doesn't hear a thing I say…no, He doesn't even have a clue…

Jesus: Beloved, I am here.

All this time, I have always been near.

Beloved, please open your eyes and open your ears.

Come to me and I will willingly wash away all your tears…

Sometimes life gets rough and everything seems to be going downhill. We feel so overwhelmed by all the things happening to us that we don't know what to do. We feel as if we have no one to turn to for help, not even God. But I tell you, God's love for us is unconditional. No matter what you are going through, God will always be there for you. You can always count on Him. There is never a time when He is not present. There is never a time when He is not standing by your side willing to help. So remember, God loves you very much and He is always there even when you feel that He is not.
